Day 7 - Cruise (4)

Starting weight: 66.6kg / 146.5lbs
Today's weight: 64.4kg / 141.68lbs
Today's loss/gain: +0.3kg / 0.66lbs
Total weight loss: -2.2kg / 4.84lbs

Breakfast: scrambled egg & smoked salmon
Snack: 
Lunch: 2 ham rolls with 97% fat free cottage cheese, Buller 99% fat free vanilla yoghurt
Snack: 2 turkey sausages
Dinner: steamed chicken breast with yoghurt sauce - recipe below from Dukan UK website (adapted slightly), broccoli
Drinks: 2 7up zero (got a craving for fizzy drink after yesterday's sprites!)
Water: 1.5 ltr
Redbush tea: 0 cups
Peppermint tea: 0 cups



2  chicken breasts
1 shallot - chopped
1/2 bunch of fresh thyme
1 low-fat natural yoghurt
1/2 bunch of parsley - chopped
The juice of 1/2 lemon
1 clove of garlic - finely chopped
A few mint leaves - chopped (didn't have any)
Salt and pepper
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Pour a good quantity of water into the lower compartment of a steamer, add salt and bring to the boil. Spread half the thyme sprigs over the upper compartment, place the chicken breasts on top and cover with the remaining thyme sprigs and the shallots. Close the lid and allow 25 minutes' cooking time from when the steam begins to escape. During this time, prepare the sauce. Pour the yoghurt into a bowl. Add the lemon juice, along with the parsley, mint and garlic clove. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and keep chilled until you are ready to serve the sauce with the chicken.

I was a bit surprised to see a slight weight gain this morning :(  But I really shouldn't complain since I've lost a over 2kgs in 1 week.

I need include more vegetables for PV days but am convinced I'll just pack the weight back on...

No chicken wings today - I think I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms!
